How should numbers be written?
- Use words if the number is less than one hundred ... Ninety-Nine. Place a hyphen between two numbers, for instance: seventy-one.
- When numbers are at the start of a sentence, always write them out in full. Thereafter, in a report, it is acceptable to use the figures.
- When referencing page numbers, use the figures, for instance: Page 10.
- For dates, use figures, for instance: 15 March 2015.
